Session 8 (Mathuas)

We help the new Anadi fit in. They seem to be a subset of Anadi who have a hybrid form as standard, they are not used to contact with others and using the ‘proper’ shape-change. People around the school have some trouble with their hybrid forms and tend to evade them. I try to teach them some proper transmutation and I hope that they can teach me their form, so that I can use that later.

Janatimo arrived in the Magaambya, the leader of the Uzunjati. He helped us search for explanations for all the weird stuff that had been happening, especially the griffon attack. He challenged us to think of very out-of-the-box reasons why this might be happening.

Our investigation took us all around the city, and we ended in a sad exotic pet trading place. The person running the shop obviously had problems with some kind of illegal persons and was very tight-lipped. The griffons were fed spiders, which explained why they attacked us, no malice intended… When we went to check on the griffons and other creatures it turned out that all the cages were opened. After subduing the creatures and getting them back in their cages it was time to get to investigating, but the conclusion of this was not a lot to go on…
