The aftermath of the griffon mystery

We were tasked with finding out were the griffons which attacked our new students came from.
So we started with an autopsy of the griffons, this revealed to us that:

• They were kept chained up (as we found out by the marks on their legs)
• They didn't fly much (their muscles were not very developed)
• Their wounds were kept clean (so they were valuable)
• They were not feed well, and mostly spiders for the foreseeable past. (based upon the content
  of their stomach and intestines).

With this information and some information gathering we tracked their origin from Oba's business
of wondrous creatures. It boiled down she was blackmailed because she had money problems, spider feed is cheap so that
should explain the spiders and the attack and somebody let the griffons out....

But i believe you always have a choice and she made a bad one endangering other people...
And you can always ask you family for help... right?
BUT we cleaned her mess even further... cause other creatures also escaped.
3 tigers
1 goater
1 basilisk
We bribed 2 of the 3 tigers back in their cage, the last one was stoned by the basilisk.
We subdued the goater, and pushed the basilisk back in its cage.
The shopkeeper promised us to give more rations to the creatures.
But I doubt we can sit on our laurels the coming time...
Besides this exciting story my school work went well, and I am becoming more accomplished in
magical crafting. And we as an cohort try and help our new fellow students...
